| In this study, a recombinant inbred lines (RIL) population derived from a rice cross between indica cultivar 'IR24' and japonica cultivar 'Asominori' and a genome-wide chromosome segment substitution lines (CSSL) population from continuously backcrossing of F7 lines of 'Asominori x IR24' with Asominori were used to investigate the QTLs of 9 agronomic traits including yield per plant (YPP), sink capacity per plant (SCP), spikelets per panicle (SPP), seed-setting rate (SSR), 1000-grain weight (TGW), productive panicle per plant (PPP), plant height (PH), days from sowing to heading (DTH) and tiller angle (TA), and then to carry out a research on genetic basis of heterosis, spikelet sterility and DTH transgression of two indica/japonica inter-subspecific hybrids, Asominori/IR24 and 02428/IR24. The main results were as follows:1. A total of 47 QTLs conferring YPP, SCP, SPP, SSR, TGW, PPP and PH had been identified in the two experimental years using RIL population, of which 7 QTLs, qPH-1, qPH-5a , qPH-5b, qSSR-5, qSSR-10, qTGW-8, qTGW-9, qSPP-1b and qYPP-2b, simultaneously detected in the two years. Sixty-four marker-linked loci had been identified using CSSL population, of which 14 loci repeatedly detected. The main molecular marker intervals on Chr.1, Chr.2, Chr.5, Chr.6, Chr.7, Chr.10 and Chr.11 had been identified, each of them harbored the same or related QTLs in the both populations. The QTLs underlying related traits existed with cluster distribution, which corresponded to the significant correlation among the related traits recognized by correlation analysis of yield-related traits.2. Twelve QTLs associated with DTH had been located on marker linkage map under one natural short-day and two long-day growing environments. Among them, qDTH-2, qDTH-6, qDTH-8 and qDTH-12 repeatedly identified on chromosome 2, 6, 8 and 12 in the different growing environments, respectively. The alleles from IR24 on qDTH-2 and... |
