Investigation And Research On Woody Energy Plant Xanthoceras Sorbifolia Bunge

Taking Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge as the research object, this dissertation made clear of its definite distribution regions and distribution features in China on the basis of a systematic and comprehensive investigation of its resource distribution, and made categorization of the types according to the natural characters. By the analysis of relative traits and AFLP, the research on genetic diversity and distribution among different distributions and natural types were conducted,which had revealed the relationship of consanguinity at the level of molecule and gene.The dissertation also made research on the changes of the oil contents, the kinds and contents of fatty acids in seed kernel oils of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge, which provided scientific basis for the future research and development and utilization of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge.(1) The geographic distribution of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge in China spans from 28°34'N to 47°20'N in latitude and from 73°20'E to 120°25'E in longitude. The ravines and gullies criass-cross loess plateau is its centralized distribution region. It can grow in temperate region and is found in North China, East China and Northwest of China, including 14 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions). In the natural distribution regions, the vegetation is mainly made up of grasses and shrubs, and the soil types were mainly loessal soil while the others were black mature soil, sand blown soil, brown earth and chestnut soil.(2) The horizontal distribution of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge. was scattered and partly discontinuous, and the distribution boundary line was the line Jianping of Liaoning Province-Beijing municipalitie - Qingdao of Shandong Province -Hefei of Anhui Province-Luanchuan of Henan Province-Luonan of Shaanxi Province- Pingliang of Gansu Province-Xunhua of Qinghai Province-Zayu of Tibet. The resource of the Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge in China was almost found in the west and the north of the line, while seldom found in the east and the south of the line.(3) The research on the 15 relative traits of 14 distributions of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge showed that the leaf variation was smaller than seed and fruit variation.
