The worldwide use of pesticide has increased the yields of primary products greatly. However, with the use of large amounts of pesticide, the residues of pesticide become an aggravating problem. Scientists pay more and more attention to the food safety nowadays. There are three kinds' methods to removal of pesticide residues today. First to control the amounts of the usage of pesticide, second by physical method, such as, washing by water and cleanser, peeling etc.. And the third method is degrading the pesticide by chemicals. The objective of the article is to find a component in plant which can increase the peristalsis of small intestine of mice to reduce the absorption of the pesticide. The main research work of the article involved four parts.①To find the components which can enhance the peristalsis of small intestine of mice.②To optimum the extracting technology of the functional components.③To test the inhibition of the absorption of the pesticide in vivo.④To grow the plant with tissue culture.Cucai, is one kind of Herba patriniae, includes two plants, i.e., Patrinia scabiosaefolia Fisch and Patrinia villosa (PV). Once, in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, the author of this article found the plant Patrinia villosa, which in the article acts as the test material, could increase the amounts of the feces and reduce the constipation after having been eaten.By means of the test of the peristalsis of small intestine of mice, it was found that the extracts with water, the stems and the leaves of PV have all the function to increase the small intestine peristalsis. And in the extracts, the tannins, polysaccharides, and pectin have the same function, too. The tannins showed the highest activity to increase the peristalsis among them; the ratio of the small intestine peristalsis of mice is up to 83.3% within 30min. And no evidence showed that the volatile components of PV had the function in the study. And the extraction technology of tannins was also studied in the article. Concentration of the extraction solvent was selected, and the single factor test and orthogonal experiment design methods (L9 (33)) were applied to analyze the influence of each factor in solid-liquid ratio, temperature and time on the extraction percent of tannins from the fresh wild PV. The result showed that the optimum extraction solvent is pure acetone, and the optimum extraction technology of solid-liquid ratio, temperature and time is respectively 1:60, 35℃and 4h, in this condition, the maximum extraction percent of tannins was 6.84%.48 male ICR rats after fasting 24h, which were divided by 4 groups, were oral administered with chlorpyrifos with the dosage 40mg/kg bw(1/4 LD50), and then oral administered with PV tannins with the dosage 20mg/kg bw, 50mg/kg bw and 100mg/kg bw, respectively. The rest group was oral administered with distilled water. The blood, urine and feces of the rats were collected at different time after the meal. The chlorpyrifos was extracted from the samples with hexane, and determined by GC. It shows significant difference between the tannins groups and the CK. It indicates that PV tannins have the function to reduce the absorption of chlorpyrifos, and the concentration of the chlorpyrifos of CK in blood is only 2% of the concentration in the high dosage groups. One method of tissue culture with tissues of PV leaves was practiced. And the functions of the polysaccharides of PV, such as enhancing the immune function, reducing the blood sugar concentration and cholesterol concentration etc, were also studied in the article.
