Extant song dynasty monographs of treatise on febrile are that in a period of the northern song dynasty and the southern song dynasty (960-1276) and the Han national independent area having been written to study of treatise on febrile disease, and now still have editions left. Acordding to searching the catalogue book, there are 17 class works. They are Liu Yuanbin’s Shanghankuoyao (Summary outline of treatise on febrile) (1076), Han Zhihe’s Shanghanweizhilun (Subtle meaning of treatise on febrile) (1086), Pang Anshi’s Shanghanzongbinglun (General treatise on febrile diseases) (1100), Zhu Gong’s Shanghanbaiwen (One hundred questions of treatise on febri le), Nanyanghuorenshu (Nanyang’ s book of making alive) (1118), Zengshi Nanyanghuorenshu (Increases the definition of Nanyang’s book of making alive), Chongjiaozhenghuorenshu(Re-calibrate book of making alive), Li Zhixian’ s Huorenshukuo (Generalization of the book of making alive) (1166), Xu Shuwei’s Shanghanbaizhengge (One hundred syndrome poetry of treatise on febrile), Shanghanfaweilun (Exposition of the meaning of treatise on febrile) and Shanghanjiushilun (Ninety cases of treatise on febri le) (1170), Li Cheng’s Shanghanyaozhiyaofang (The theory and prescription of treatise on febrile) (1171), Qian Wenli’s Shanghanbaiwenge (The poetry of one hundred ask of treatise on febrile) (1182) and Tang Yincai’s Shanghanjiehuolun (Differentiate and analysis of treatise on febrile) (1173), Guo Yong’s Shanghanbuwanglun (Make up the missing texts of treatise on febrile) (1195), Li Zijian’s Shanghanshiquan (Ten advise of treatise on febrile)(1217) and Yang Shiying’s Shanghanleishuhuorenzongkuo (Overall summary of treatise on febri le making al ive books like) (1260). Because the word of Zhu Gong’ s Chongjiaozhenghuorenshu covered the two works ahead,and Zengshinanyanghuorenshu wes increased the definition by other people, to avoid repetition, this article researchs 14 works. These medical books not only represent the academic level of treatise on febrile in the song dynasty, but also occupy the important position in the academic history of treatise on febrile in China, having the important value of literature and clinical reference. At present, it is relatively less that the TCM academic circles have for the comprehensive and systematic research of song dynasty treatise on febrile works, so the important value of research is obvious. This paper adopts the research method,such as holistic approach, comparative study and bibliometrics, adding to speculation and seeking for case then analysis material on 14 works.On the basis of full system analysis, I make every effort to sort out the relationship between these books, and with the former generation treatise on febrile literature, especially that with Zhang Zhongjing’ s works. The full text is divided into 6 units, including the era background of the development of Song dynasty medicine, understanding of treatise on febrile before song dynasty, the official revised literature of treatise on febrile and song and yuan dynasties’5 kinds of bibliographic description of treatise on febrile, extant song dynasty monographs of treatise on febrile, literature characteristics of song dynasty monographs of treatise on febrile, historical status and influence of song dynasty monographs of treatise on febrile.1 The era background of the development of medicine in Song dynasty The era background of the development of medicine in song dynasty, including politics, culture, science and technology, economy and climate 5 aspects. In the technological and economic aspects,progress in printing and paper-making technology made book-carving industry prosperity. With the popularity of books, medicine spread. In climatic aspect, that the plague appeared frequently also made physicians attach importance to exogenous diseases.2 Understanding of treatise on febrile before song dynastyUnderstanding of treatise on febrile before song dynasty is instantiated in the existing literature of it. From the warring states period to the Three Kingdoms period, the simple record of prescription and cases of treatise on febrile appeared, a relatively complete theory of treatise on febrile was gradually formed. And the produce of monographs of treatise on febrile of song dynasty could be reflected from the 4 famous book catalogues.They are Chongwenzongmu (Advocating culture catalogue), Suichutangshumu (Sui Chu Tang’s Bibliography) Junzhaidushuzhi (Jun Zhai reading record), Zhizhaishulujieti (Zhi Zhai’s annotated bibliography) in the song dynasty, and Yiwenzhi of Songshi (Art and Literature of song history).4 Extant song dynasty monographs of treatise on febrileBased on the systematic research of Book catalogues records, compilation of books and the inheritance relationship between Literature in extant song dynasty monographs of treatise on febrile, the distinguishing feature of the style and content of these works have be found. Chongjiaozhenghuorenshu can be divided into three parts,which are Shanghanbaiwen (One hundred questions about febrile disease), the formulas, treatise on febrile about women and children. Shanghanbaiwen part was 101 q&a about the theory of febri le disease. The part of’the formulas’is about 113 formulas in song finalized edition Shanghanlun and relevant miscellaneous formulas.Treatise on febrile about women and children is for gynecology, pediatrics.The existing version of Huorenshukuo can’t be seen, but the content is visible in Yifangleiju (Formulas collection), which can be divided into two parts, theory and formula. The theoretical part in the form of Lvfu(a form of literary style) and poetry mainly rooted in Zhu Gong’ s Huorenshu (The book of making alive).Xu Shuwei had Shanghanbaizhengge Shanghanfaweilun and Shanghanjiushllun three kinds of febrile works which handed down from ancient times. Shanghanbaizhengge is about the 100 seven-character poems mainly originated from Shanghanbaiwen of Huorenshu; Shanghanfaweilun is related 22 articles about febrile theory,which repeat with the text Shanghanbaizhengge and Shanghanjiushilun; Shanghanjiushilun is China’s first existing monograph of medical record, which is about Xu’s 90 medical record of treatment of febrile. The composition method of this book is first-narrate-then-expound form and narration-interspersed-with-comments form. Shanghanyaozhiyaofang has prescription and clause two parts. The prescription contains 108 prescriptions of song finalized edition Shanghanlun. Clause summarized relevant provisions in prescriptions which are in song finalized edition Shanghanlun.This book retains quite content of the original.Shanghanbaiwengehas a total of 93 seven-character poems febrile related. Its contents and sequence are based on arrangement of Huorenshu about Shanghanbaiwen and treatise on febrile about women and children, almost no Qian’s personal insights added.Shanghanjiehuolun discusses the differential diagnosis and treatment of 25 febrile related conditions,which the content in accordance with Zhu Gong’s Shanghanbaiwen.Shanghanbuwanglun is wide-ranging, covering topics, the main problems presented in the form of questions and answers, more Yongyue (Yong said) suggests Guo’s point of view.This book contained another version of Shanghanlun which was different from the Song version. However, the song dynasty monographs of treatise on febrile were not fully recorded by bibliographies that only recorded more than 20 works during the song and yuan period,. But Songyiqianyijikao (Textual research of medical books before song dynasty) recorded 70 monographs of treatise on febrile in song dynasty. Now there are 17 books survived.(4) 17 monographs of treatise on febrile, because Shanghanbaiwen, Nanyanghuorenshu, Zengshinanyanghuorenshuwere Zhu Gong’s early works, and Chongjiaozhenghuorenshu covers the content of the 3 works above, so the 3 works were not be researched.14 monographs of treatise on febrile remained are each has its own characteristics.(5) The form style of 14 extant monographs of treatise on febrile is diversified, such as Lvfu, poetry, notes novel and question-and-answer form.(6) The content of 14 extant monographs of treatise on febrile mainly comes from the Song version of Shanghanlun and Zhu Gong’s works of febrile disease, and on the basis of these two books, completed the transformation of contents and forms.(7) The song dynasty monographs of treatise on febrile played an important role in Zhang Zhongjing’s febrile academic development, and had important influence on the development of the school of cold-induced febrile diseases and the febrile diseases theory.
