Nowadays, CM focus more on the CM functions of ’Xin’ and ’Shen’, and their actual functions are highly associated with the nervous system, the reproductive system and endocrine system.2 The treatment application both in ancient and modern times is mainly used in ’Xin system diseases’ and’Shen system diseases’, including insomnia, pathological seminal emission, palpitation, and premenopausal syndrome in modern clinic practice.4 In CM diagnostic textbooks and related national standard brochures, the treatment is not comprehensively defined and elaborated, leading to limited application of this treatment in clinical practice.5 Data mining can be effectively used in CM medical recorded research to find potential valuable information.
