The effect of myocardial ischemic treated with acupuncture has been confirmed in large clinic and experiment. In order to disclose mechanism of myocardial ischemic treated with acupuncture, by adopting enzyme histochemical stain, enzyme cytochemical stain, radiommunoassay and chemical colorimetric method, immunohistochemical method, molecule in situ hybridization histochemistry, we dynamically observed the influence on coronary collati~al circulation in experimental myocardial infarction model rats treated with acupuncture in ei Guan'point. Tb results are as follows: 1. The method of Mg2+-TPase histochemical stain and Na+-TPase cytochemial staining shew: after ligaturing coronary blood vessels, the activity of ATPase on endothelial cell membrane of ischemic micrangium decreased, the number of micrangium showed with Mg2+-TPase decreased. Some micrangiums were in shrinking state under the electron microscope. 1 week later, tissue were repaired, the activity of ATPase increased, the number of micrangium increased, but all of them were on below addtion newcapillary appeared. The nom6JI level, in activity of A3ase in acupuncture group was stronger than that of in model control group, the number of micrangium showed with Mg2+-TPase was much more than that of modle control group. I week later, capillary active hyperplasia, 3 weeks later, the activity of ATPase and the number of micrangium restored to normal level, these suggested that acupuncture in ei Guan'piont had an effect on promoting sitting up of coronary collatreal circulation. This function varied in different Mi periods, it primarily promoted opening up and dilating of collatiteal blood vessel at Mi early stages, and primarily promoted newborning of collatl'cal vessel at MI restoring stages. 2. At MI early stages, vascular endothelial cells were injuried, the amounts of ET in the tissue of myocardial ischemic increased, while the amo~,nts of NO decreased, these were the main cause of resulting in the spasm of coronary vessel. The ET level in acupuncture groups were lower than that in model control groups, while NO level in acupuncture groups were higher than that in model control groups, it suggested that puncturing Guan'point can inhibit ie increase of ET level and the decrease of NO level, by regulating the level of ET and NO, acupuncture can relieve the spasm of coronary vessel, as a result much more collat'~al vessel dilating and opening up at MI early stages. 3.After ligaturing coronary blood vessels, cell growth factors bFGF and TGF related to angiogenesis appeared in the ischemic area, both identically distribution were the same, but their changes were not the same, the bFGF gradually increased as the tissue repair and the newborning of blood vessels, then decreased, while the T&F-β1 increased at Mi early stages, but gradually decreased as the newborning of blood vassels, they existed in antagonistic relationship. The bFGF formation in acupuncture groups were more than that in model control groups, while the TGF-β1 were less than that in model control groups. The results suggested punctuing ei Guan'point can promote bFGF formation, inhibit TGF'P1 increasing, this is one of the important mechanisms of promoting collatal vessels formation through acupuncture. 4.After ligaturing coronary blood vessels, the VEGF formation increased and the VEGFmRNA expression up redulation in th ischemic area, they reached to peak during 1st and 2ed week and then...
