Reeently,the problem of indoor air pollution eaused by deeoration and fitmentare following with interests.Formaldehyde(FA)and benzene are the two most importantindoor air Pollutants eaused by deeoration and fit印ent.The two pollutants not onlyhave the eharaeteristie of high level eoneentration,but also have serious biologiealtoxieity .They may bring out some serious siekness sueh as irritability asthma,leukemia,and 50 on.However,the meehanisms of multi-Pathogenie assoeiated withthe two substanees are not well doeumented .Our study aims to further ealibrate thetoxieity and meehanism of FA and benzene inhalation under different level,5 imultaneously to establish suitable methods to evaluate thed age of low levelexPosure to the two eomPounds,and to find biomarkers whieh ean be earlier and moreeonveniently to deteet the damage indueed by FA and benzene. The results: (1)InhalationtoxieitymodelofestablishingthegaseouSFA(13.smg/m3)(4h/d,7d). It was found that the enzyme aetivity of GSH-PX and SOD was ehanged and the eontent of GSH and A was shifted in the brain,lung and liver of the FA exPosed grouP: The level of MDA in PeriPheral blood in the FA inhalation group was signifieantly inereased than that of the eontrol grouP,50 the eontent of MDA in the PeriPheral blood may be an effeet biomarker of FA exposure.DNA-protein erosslinks(DPC)of PeriPheral lymPhoeytes,1ivereellsandlungee11swereindueedinFAexPosedgroup, wh 1 eh might be a hazard faetor of eareinogen indueed by FA.The exPression level of IL-lp,TNF-a were inereased in the FA inhaled grouP,whieh indieated that Profiles of the non-speeial immunity of the FA exposed rats were influeneed. (2)Inhalation toxieity model of establishing the different eoneentrations of gaseous FA(0,4,12,24 mg/m,)(4h/d,15d).It was found that the。xidative damage of the eells was eorresPonding to the eoneentrations of FA.The system of oxidation and anti一oxidation were altered with the inerease of the level of inhaled gaseousFA.It was observed that the hair eolor of the rats in the FA inhalation grouP wasturned yellow with relation to the eoneentration of FA .Furthermore there wasarelationshiP between the eoneentration of FA exPosure and the DNA modifieationpresented at low level(4 mg/m3)of exposed leading to DNA strands eleavage ofmultiple organs eells,but at the high level of FA(12,24 mg/m3)resulting in theDPC.The immunity eondition of the insult grouP was shifted with the Produetionof IL-lp,TNF-Q in PeriPheral blood arise.(3)Inhalation toxieity model of establishing the gaseous benzene(100 15mg/m,,4h/d,7d)and there was1 t was found that benzene ean induee oxidative stress ofa eharaeteristie of multiPle organs in benzene exPosure.the rats, We alsofound that benzene ean induee DNA breakage in lung,brain eells and lymPhoeytesof PeriPheral blood,but the DPC of liver eells was indueed in benzene exPosed grouP,wh 1 eh may be a Possible meehanism of the leukemia indueed by benzene.It wasdemonstrated study demonstrated that the eell aPoPtosis in thy oeytes and braineells in benzene exPosed grouP ean be deteeted,and the level of TNF-a inereasedin PeriPheral blood.(4)Inhalation model of establishing the different。oneentration of gaseous FA(o,4,24 mg/m3)mixed with gaseous benzene(100士15 mg/m3)(4h/d,15d).Itfound that DNA breakage of multiPle organs eells was indueed in the rats ateoneentration of (4 mg/m3)mixed,ith gaseousb。nzene,but at high eoneentrationsuggested thatthe mixed gas,DPC of multiPle organs eells were indueed.Wethe low level of FA,the eorrelation of FA and benzeneeooPeration in DNAd彻age.our present study also indieated that the aetivityanti一oxidative enzymes and the outPut of liPid Peroxide were eaused by exPosureto the m ixed gaseous.The antigen of FA and benzene 15 not suffieient to stimulateesPeeially inununity aetivity of the two eomPounds in rats,but the non-esPeeiallyilnmunity of the rats was otrength...
