Purpose: Do clinical research on treating gonarthritis with penetration needling method. Furthre standardize the correlated criteria and manipulations. Divide the gonarthritis patients who are up to the requests into two groups randomly according to the number format. 2. The treatment group is punctured with penetration method. Point selections: Xiyangguan (GB 33) to Ququan (LR 8), Waixiyan (EX-LE5) to Neixiyan (EX-LE4), Yanglingquan (GB 34) to Yinlingquan (SP 9), Liangqiu (ST 34) to Xuehai (SP 10). Observe and compare the appraisal score and grade of the pain before treatments and the change of pain and general score after the treatments between the two groups.Result: 1. The appraisal score of the disease grade: In the treatment group, there is quite obvious difference in the appraisal scores between after and before the treatment, P<0. 01. In the control group, there is also quite obvious difference in the appraisal scores between after and before the treatment, P<0. 01. This indicates that both treatments have quite obvious effect in improving the appraisal scores of the gonarthritis. The comparison between the two groups suggests that there is obvious different, P<0. 05. The treatment group is superior to the control one. The treatment group is obviously better in improving the appraisal score which indicates that penetration needling method is obviously better in ameliorating the appraisal score of gonarthrits than normal needling method. 2. In the treatment group, there is no obvious difference in painful grade before the treatment, P>0. 05. There is quite obvious difference in the painful grade between after and before the treatment, P<0. 01. In the control group, there is also quite obvious difference in the painful grade between after and before the treatment, P<0. 01. This indicates that both treatments have quite obvious effect in ameliorating the pain of the gonarthritis. And there is obvious difference between the two groups after the treatment, P<0. 05. The penetration needling method is superior to the normal needling one in ameliorating the painful score. 3. There is obvious difference between the two groups in the effect of treating pain, P<0. 05. The treatment group is better than the control one. This indicates that the penetration needling method is superior to the normal needling one in reliving pain. 4. There is obvious difference between the two groups in the general appraisement, P<0. 05. The treatment group is better than the control one. This indicates that the penetration needling method is superior to the normal needling one. 5. The safety appraisements are both eligible.Conclusion:It is convenient in manipulations, sure in effect and high in safety to treat the gonarthrites with the penetration needling method. And it is more effective than the normal needlingmethod.
