The appearance of transgenic models is valuable to many research fields such as genetic disease model establishment and specific problem solving in developmental biology. Many of genes transferred in gene therapy or function study are expressed constantly and cannot be regulated on quantity and expression time. These kinds of genes have great restriction in gene therapy or function research. A complex trait cannot discriminate in which tissue or organ gene is expressed and if gene expression is endogenous or exogenous. In addition, the gene transferred in transgenic animal often shows intolerance in cell or embryo because of the gene expression products, which block development of transgenic animal.Together with gene expression regulation and transgenic technology, gene expression regulator control system provides a new path to solve problems mentioned above. With the development of transgenic technology, conditional transgenic technologies allow flexible temporal-spatial control of gene expression in vivo and in vitro. The appearance of conditional transgenic technologies has momentous significance for function research and gene expression analysis in different development stage of animal model. The inducible expression transgenic systems are composed of three basic components: regulation element, response element with targeted gene and induction element. The perfect and representative transgenic system that can be regulated and applied successfully to transgenic animal production is the...
