object: To construction of BMP-7 gene-enhanced tissue engineering bone in vitro and investigate its bone defects repairing ability, methods: BMSCs or BMSCs transferred with rBMP-7 gene were combined with MCaS. 60 New Zealand white rabbits with 15mm segmental defect on the bilateral radius were divided into A, B and C group. A group( n=20): BMSCs transferred with rBMP-7 gene combined with MCaS were transplanted into the defect areas. B group( n=20):the defect areas were transplanted with BMSCs combined with MCaS. C group (n =20): the defect areas were transplanted with McaS. After 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks from operation, X-ray radio graphical and histological studies were performed, results: Group A has more callus bone formation at 4th week, 8th week and 12th week. conclusion : BMP-7 gene enhanced tissue engineering bone transfer accelerates bone defects healing.
