The research about anterior cervical-adjustable fusion fixator(AC-AFF) is belong to Shanghai science and technical committee. As one part of this research, our study established the sheep cervical model implanted respectively with AC-AFF and combination of titanium mesh with cervical plate(P&T), and autogenous iliac bone graft(P&I).And, subsequently to carry out the biomechanics experiment and to observe the microhistologic structure of the fused bone graft. The results point out clearly that AC-AFF is easy to implant into sheep cervical than other fixation devices; In bio- mechanics experiment, we found the displacement of the AC-AFF group was less than that of the P&T group and P&I group under load in different directions and the stress centralized in bone graft fusion of AC-AFF is the lowest; The fusion of bone graft in AC-AFF is satisfactory both on X-ray and CT scan films, and many new chondrocyte emerged around the AC-AFF and adjacent end-plate.
