With the higher demand of biocompatible dental materials, titanium-porcelain restorations earns more clinicians' concern because of excellent biocompatibility and low price of Ti. Even there has been great progress on the titanium-porcelain technique, Ti-porcelain restorations have not been commonly used in clinics due to lower bonding strength of Ti/porcelain than that of Ni-Cr/porcelain. This study was projected on the "interlayer" strategy to develop ZrSiN film on Ti surface by magnetron sputtering technique to improve bonding strength of Ti/porcelain. The other content of this study is to develop G-1 Ti opaque pocelain based on GGW Tibond porcelain developed by previous work of our research team.ZrSiN film was sputtered on titanium substrate with RF reactive magnetron sputtering as diffusion barrier of titanium porcelain interface. XRD, XPS results revealed that the ZrSiN diffusion barrier is a nano-composite that consists of nano-crystallite ZrN phase and amorphous-like SiN_x phase. The results also showed that after simulated porcelain sintering thermocycles the...
