Experimental Study Of Tricusp Valvuloplasty

Objective Several techniques for tricuspid valvuloplasty were performed in dogs, The tissue healing and function of tricuspid valve were observed. Methods The experiment consists of three parts. Part I :Reposition of anterior leaflet and papillary muscle . Six mongrel dogs were randomly divided into two groups. Group A: anterior leaflet and a branch of papillary muscle was sutured to original place respectively. Group B : anterior leaflet and a branch of papillary muscle was sutured to another place, where 2mm lower than original place. Part II: Repair of posterior leaflet. Six mongrel dogs were randomly divided into two groups. Before the cardiopulmonary bypass was performed , a pericardial patch was harvested for later use in the operation. Group A: Quadrate excision of posterior leaflet near annulas was performed, the fresh autologous pericardium was implanted as a posterior leaflet patch. Group B : Part posterior leaflet was excised, the defect was repaired with fresh autologous pericardial patch,then the fresh autologous pericardial item was sutured to free wall of right ventricule.
