Cerebrovascular disease is the disease of nervous system, which is commonly seen and frequently occurs. It, together with malignant tumor and heart disease, constitutes the three biggest fatal killers in the world .Among all the diseases, its death rate reaches 10 percent, only next to tumor, and it has been one of the three main killers that lead to death.50-70 percent of the survivors have some serious sequelas, such as paralysis, aphasia, and etc. It not only torments the patients themselves, but also brings the society and the patients' families heavy burdens. A questionnaire in China shows that the annual morbidity of stroke is 109.7—217/100,000,Morbidity rate is 719—745.6/100,000, the death toll is 116—141.8/100,000, and the ratio between male and female is 1.3:1.7:l.There are over 1.5 million new cases every year, and the death toll reaches 1 million. There are altogether more than 6 million patients suffering from it, among whom three quarters of them have sequelas to different degrees, and more than 40 percent are so serious that they become crippled. Therefore the studies of the cerebrovascular disease is of practical importance, and they are also the focus of today's nerve science, especially the studies about the treatment for cerebral arterial thrombosis with high morbidity and many sequelas, in which cerebral infarction is just a representative. On the basis of earlier studies in the laboratory, the experiment uses modified models of middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion(MCAO) to research the mechanism with Tongxinluo which treats ischemical reperfusion injury, explores how a rat restores its nerve function, the propagation and differentiation of neural stem cells in the brain organization, and the changes about concerneel. With these research...
