Objective To establish an ideal model of rat hepatic fibrosis and a rathepatocarcinogenesis model with low death rate, shortened time to inducecancer and the similar develop process of hepatocellular carcinoma tohuman, and to investigate the efficiency and possible mechanisms of glutamineand arginine in experimental rats with hepatic fibrosis and hepatocellularcarcinoma. Methods 1. 65 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into experimentgroup(n=40),tradition group(n=20) and control group(n=5).The experimentgroup were treated with CCl4(0.3ml/100g) and the interval time was adjusted according to general state of health and mortality of rats, from twice a week to once five days at the end of four weeks; The tradition group were treated with traditional means; The control group were treated with normal saline. The formation rate of hepatic fibrosis, collagen protein level and mortality in two groups were observed after treated with CCl4.2.Forty Wistar rats aged eight weeks were hypodermic injected with 50% CCl4 oil solution at the dose of 0.3ml/100g twice a week for two weeks ,and rested for two weeks.finally the rats were fed with diethylnitrosamin (DEN) at the dose of 95ug/ml for 12 continuous weeks. 3.30 male Wistar hepatic fibrosis rats induced by CCl4 for 6...
