Inhibition of invasion and metastasis of cancer cells is the important aim for cancer therapy. A large quantity of experiments have proved that the inclination of ivasion and metastasis of cancer cells bears a close correlation with its ability to induce the creation of prolease degradation of ECM(extracellular matrix) and basal membrane.Among all the proleases matrical Metalloproteinase MMPs is the most important one that can almost degradate all the ECM and the basal membrane.MMPs can draw a dynamic equilibrium between regulation and recombination by the degeneration of ECM to avoid some special signals.
