Antibody-dependent immunotherapy based on mouse monoclonal antibodies has shown a low therapeutic efficacy against tumours in a majority of clinical studies. The reasons for this are several apart from the difficuties in selecting antibodies with suitable specificity, one of the major reasons is the human immune response against the foreign, mouse proteins and the production of human anti-mouse antibodies(HAMA), Human monoclonal antibodies would most probably circumvent most of these problems but the prodution technologies have suffered from several severe drawbacks. In this paper, a human monoclonal antibody against HFRSV was produced with in vitro immunization.
