Hepatitis B is a major worldwide public health problem, there are estimated to be more than 300 million chronic HBV carriers worldwide, three quarters of whom are in Asia Chronic active hepatitis leads to cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma in about one-quarter of these individuals. And there is not an actual method to be verified to cure the disease among the available therapies, to date. So far, it has made a great success in protection of HBV infection since HBV vaccine has been used over the world, there is still 10% poor responders and HBV mutant infection.Gene immunization (nucleic acid immunization) is a novel approach in which naked DNA encoding specific antigens and the regulatory elements needed to express them are introduced directly into mammaliam tissue, and subsequently induce specific immune response to the expressed antigen.
