Background. Gene therapy for tumor has become one of the focal points of the reserch in biological medicine fieldat present , along with the continuous deepening ofi understanding of tumor molecular mechanisms and the rapiddevelopment of the technique of molecular biology. Gastric cancer is one of the highest incidence malignant tumors in our country and the major project of research in gastroenteric tumor. The carcinogenesis and development of gastric cancer is related with some genetic alteration ( mutation, arrangement and amplification etc ) in normal cells. Up to now, there are several mutant tumor -suppressing genes(p53, p16, Rb, etc) have been identified in gastric cancer and other tumor.
