Tracheal stenosis caused by tumor, congential disease, inflammation, and other reasons is resected ideally by an end-end anasitomosis. Reconstruction after long-section tracheal resection is required.Developemnt of immunology makes kidney and heart transplantation possibly used in clinic. Tracheal transplantation is noticed by people and becomes a treatment method of long-section tracheal defects. Revascularization of donator's tracheal, immunologic rejection, and preservation of tracheal make tracheal transplantation difficult. For the purposed of mentioned above, we underwent the following experiments:By the examination of MRI, histopathology, and the caculation of survival rate and percentage of patency, the viability of graft status of autograft tracheas wrapped in one-side sternomastiod muscule flap and two-side sternohyoid muscle flap based on different pedicle, effects of neck muscle associated with bFGF on length of autografts, and limit of warm ischemia time on tracheal allograft before cryopreservation were evaluated in rabbits. The results demonstrated:1.Tracheal autografts wrapped in one-side sternomastiod muscule flap and two-side sternohyoid muscle flap based on different pedicle was examined by MRI in forth week after operation. The autografts were easy and smooth, their structure was the same as what it originally was. The early-phase enhancement rates of the upper and lower anasitomosis, and the middle part of the grafts were not statistically different. Hisopathologic examination demonstrated that the inner surface of the graft was covered with pseudostratified columnar ciliary epithelia. No necrotic tracheal cartilages were found. Every autograft could survive over long time. As for those autografted tracheal without wrapped in muscles, they were obstructed, their epithelia disappeared and cartilage had no vibility.2. The survival of 5 rings tracheal autograft wrapped by neck muscles associated with...
