The large intestine carcinoma is the common malignant tumor of alimentary tract in our country, The incidence of large intestine carcinoma has gradually risen in recent years. The colorectal carcinoma is one of the leading cancer sites at western nation, approximately 50% of newly diagnosed patients well die of the large intestine carcinoma within 5 years, the large intestine carcinoma is the second leading cause of death of malignant tumor. Both carcinogenesis and progression of the large intestine carcinoma exhibit as a multistep process, multigenetic abnormalities; including the activation of several oncogenes and the inactivation of several tumor suppressor genes or the change of modulation system of genome stability or DNA methylation etc. but a single sequence of events does not appear to be operative, the contact also has no particularity, this kind of phenomenon explains that the tumorigenesis of the large intestine carcinoma has more than two pathways . EphA2(Erythropoitin-produceing hepatocellular A-2, EphA2) is one of the subfamily members of receptor tyrosine kinase , EphA2 has been shown frequently overexpressed in multiple types of carcinoma tissues and cell lines , EphA2 is involved in tumorigenesis and development of tumours and tumor neovascularization. But it is not clear how about of EphA2 expressions in large intestine adenocarcinoma and the relation of EphA2 expressions with the tumorigenesis and development of large intestine...
