Objective To explore how pharmacological preconditioning enhanced hypoxia-tolerance? How pharmacological preconditioning combined with hypothermia could increase hypoxia-tolerance further? How did pharmacological preconditioning and hypothermia influence the expression of Bcl-2, Bax and iNOS? Methods (1) Cultured hippocampal neurons were assigned into the following five groups randomly, diazoxide (DZ) 0 μ mol/L, DZ 30 u mol/L, DZ 100 μ mol/L, DZ 100 μ mol/L+100 μ mol/L5-hydroxydecanoate, DZ 150 μ mol/L.
