The life sciences have come into the postgenomic era since the primary goal of the Human Genome Project (HGP) to elucidate the complete sequence of the human genome has been achieved. The aims of the postgenomic era are mainly explaining the genetic information, characterisation of functional elements encoded in the human genome and mapping the human genetic variability as well. Large-scale studies on functions of genes have become a hotspot. A malignancy is a very serious disease damaging the human beings health, which is acclaimed as a genetic disease. The great number of the research results showed that the abnormal variations in cellular singnal transduction pathways played an important role in cellular carcinomatous changes. Mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK) are a group of protein serine/threonine kinases that are activated in response to a variety of extracellular stimuli and mediate signal transduction cascades.
