In recent years, composite materials comprised of bioactive inorganic HA particles and organic polymers have been widely studied. In the present study, nano-hydroxyapatite (n-HA) and novel aliphatic polyetheresteramide-based polyurethane (PEEA-U) was used to prepare biocomposite through routine solvent casting technique and novel electrospinning to form two different architechture topography. Osteoblasts were then cultured on the composite in vitro to evaluate the interaction between cells and materials.There are four major parts in this research.1. Preparation and characterization of n-HA/PEEA-U composite by solvent casting technique.Hydrothermally synthesized nano-hydroxyapatite (n-HA) varing in weight from 10% to 30% was used as filler to make biocomposite membranes with novel aliphatic polyetheresteramide-based polyurethane (PEEA-U) by solvent casting firstly.
