With development of technique of cardiovascular surgery, mechanism of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury and its protection have been widely studied. However, death rate of heart operation on infants is still high. One of the main reasons may have to do with inadequate myocardial protection. Many researchers consider that there are differences in structure, function and energy metabolism between immature and mature myocardium. So methods for protecting mature myocardium which are being used is possibly inadequate for protection of immature myocardium. The present study is divided into three parts.1. Studies on ultrastructure and PCNA immunohistochemistry of immature myocardium.By using the immunohistochemical method and electromi-croscope technique, characteristics of immature and mature my-...
