Today, the problem of subhealth, chronic, difficult disease and agedness ismore and more standing out. There has been no better way to settle these in modernmedicine yet. The Tao regimen which had been studied and practised for a longtime in China is very useful in preserving one's health, and it also had greatinfluence on the forming and developing of TCM. The main studying way in thispaper is by philology and using the combining knowledge of physics and TCM. Themain intention of the studying is to find the secret that Sun Simiao had a muchlong life (more than 100 years) although he had often been ill in his childhood, tostudy the great influence of the Tao regimen on his medicine thought. The otherintention is to research the contact between the old idea of 'Tao' and unifiedfield theory, self-organization and chaos theory which are developing in modernphysics. The main content include five parts:1. Studying on the origin of Sun Simiao's Tao regimen thought.Through the studying on Qianjinfang, we can find that the thought of Taoregimen is the center and the highest guide line in Sun Simiao's medicalthought. Laotzu, zhuangzi, Zhouyi, Huangdi Neijing, are the main resource of SunSimiao's regimen thought. Among these books, Laotzu was the most importantsource to him, and we can discover that Sun Simiao had interpreted Laotzu andZhuangzi from the standpoint of preserving one's health clearly. From this wecan also conclude that the original view of Laotzu and Zhuangzi are about Taoregimen.2. Studying on the Tao regimen practising of Sun Simiao. The main parts of Sun Simiao's regimen practising can be summed up to bekeeping good character and preserving life through nature exercise. In fact, Sun Simiao watched more on keeping good character in life, and he had a deep studyon Tao technical exercise. We can find his main regimen practising methods inhis books, including Qianjinfang, Cunshenlianqiming, Siyanshi. Sun Simiao thoughtthat the Tao regimen were not only able to keep one's health, but can also curemany kinds of difficult diseases. His precious experience in curing the seriouslazor gives us an important inspiration to treat the difficult illness, suchas tumour, in modern society.3. The Tao regimen and unified field theory. As the great representatives, Laotzu, Zhuangzi and Sun Simiao had waken upto the being of 'Tao'. They thought that 'Tao' was the root of the universe, andit also was the general drive and rule of everything. Although Tao cann' theseen, it has always been existing, and it is eternal. The old Chinese saying about'vigour' was based on the theory that 'Tao' relates 'Qi' directly. The theoryof vigour strives to understand and explain the matter world from the unitiveprincipal. The basic attributes of Qi, such as the original root, the chaos, theinfinity and the evolvement, are all similarly with unified field theory in modernphysics. The target of modern unified field theory is to unify all the physicaltheory by the only one field theory. The unified field, as the total root of allthe known natural field (electromagnetism field, gravitation field, stronginteraction, weak interaction), is sequentially full of everywhere inspace. Unified field theory is the manifestation of the vigour theory.4. The Tao regimen and self-organization theory.Non-linear science is the third great science revolution after that of theprinciple of relativity and quantum mechanics. And self-organization theory isone imporant part of non-linear science. I. Prigogine had unified the rules inphysics and biology by making Dissipation Structure. He had solved the problemthat the universe is evolving or degenerating. And he had found out the secretof the forming and evolving of Dissipative Structure. At the same time, the theoryof Synergetic and Catastrophe had discovered the common theory about the formingand developing in self-organization system. Human's body is one kind ofDissipative Structure, and it is one kind of opening and very perplexingsystem. The Tao regimen is a self-using to self-organization theory. The main wayof it is to train good character so as to restrain the increasing of body'sentropy, and to add negative entropy through information feedback. All these arein favor of improving the body's order degree. As a result, man can become morehealthy. In this self-organization process, all the parts of the body correspondto each other, and are fairly harmonious and uniform. The manifestation in thisprocess is a good prove to the theory of self-organization. 5. The Tao regimen and Chaos.Chaos, as a combination of certainty and randomicity, reflects the essenceand common character of nonlinear kinetic system, and we can find the deep secretof the nature through Chaos. The theory of Chaos has eliminated the conflictbetween certainty and randomicity, unified the different rules among differentarrangement and found the new oneness of nature. The theory of chaos suggeststhat all the matters in the universe might come from a common root and obey aunitive evolvement law. The character of Sun Simiao's regimen is throughmind 'chaos', and the essence character of non-linear science is'chaos' too. And both of them have the same knowing result that the world isthe oneness of certainty and randomicity although the methods to know the essenceof the world are very different. Conclusion: Sun Simiao was often ill in his childhood, yet he had a long lifeat last. It was the rao regimen that changed his life completely. We shouldunderstand him from the height of Tao. The theory of rao and Qi being the rootof the universe is very similar to the developing theory in modern physics. Thetraditional Chinese regimen throws great inspiration on the development ofmodern physics and life sciences in the world view and methodology.
