Skin is an important barrier against microbes and chemical materials for maintaining homeostasis. Necrosis of skin is the main damage of burn and a large area damage can cause disorders of the whole body. So handling the wound correctly is of obvious importance for burn treatment. However, the surface cover and repair of larger area damage has been the formidable problem in clinic work. The repair of burn wound involves a complicating biological reaction including inflammatory reaction, cell proliferation and migration, deposition of collagen and extracellular matrix, epithelization, et al. The traditional approach is autologous skin graft, which often results in heavy pigmentation and scarring in both donor sites and recipient sites, furthermore donor sites are limited in patients with large area skin injuries. It still remains some important problems in wound healing. It is very urgent to develop new approaches to improve the rate and quality of wound healing, decrease incidence rate of functional impairment and raise quality of life for patients with large area skin injuries.Tissue engineering makes it possible to rebuild a new tissue recovering the function of injured one by transplanting a supporter seeding with high concentration of function- associated alive cells isolated and cultured in vitro into the patient. Acquiring Enough quantity of cells with reborn vitality which do not cause the immunological rejection is a key point for...
