In this essay, based on current archaeological discoveries and existing masterpieces, the author focuses in analysis and research of the clay and porcelain moulding in Shang, Zhou, Sui, Tang and Song dynasties, and mainly aims at its relationshipwith the mingle of different cultural elements from different cultural backgrounds. Thereby the author determines the historical logics among "imitation","integration" and "creation" in the artistic creations science study, which could be implemented to examine and guide the orientation and positioning of contemporary art creation at theintersection of East-West cultural background.
