A Probe Into The Relationship Between "Wen Xin Diao Long" And "Yi"

The effection of "Zhou Yi" on "Wen Xin Diao Long" is not the minor details, but a full range of effection. It can be said that "Zhou Yi" is the image of" Wen Xin Diao Long ". " Yi Jing " was writeen by Confucius to record the image, divination and to explain "Zhou Yi ".All the ideological contents in "Zhou Yi " are included in these images. Liu Xie compared hexagrams to styles, quoting a lots of hexagram records and hexagram to describe his reasons for writing, In order to explain the relationship "Zhou Yi" and "Wen Xin Diao Long".In the first chapter of this thesis, Liu xie mainly discussed the relationship between the origin of literature and "Yi Gua".Just as what he described in "Yuan Dao", a variety of colors mixed together and the sun and the moon forms a splendorous contrast means the harmonious between Yin and Yang, while the difference between square and circle and the color of mountains and rivers means the opposition between Yin and Yang. The analysis of the writer’s artistic personality by Liu xie, draw on thinking mode of the formation of "Zhou Yi" gossip. According to the Nature and nurture determining your personal outlook, Liu xie divided writer’s artistic personality into eight classes, and constructed one-to-one interaction relations between eight class characters and eight kinds of style. So the eight characters and eight styles both had one-to-one relationship with "Zhou Yi" gossip. And the construction of system of stylistic refered to 64 divinatory trigram model which showed "Lead and stretch, touch and long".In the third chapter of this paper, the relationship between the writing theory of "Wen Xin Diao Long" and some of the images of "Yi Gua" had been discussed. The principle of literary and creation rule reflected in some part communicated with principles dwelling in "Yi" reflected in some images. Basic tenet of part was similar to meanings of images of the trigrams, logic of thought in part corresponded approximately to the change of each Hexagram righteousness. The author analyzed the symbolic corresponding relation in turn implied in "Shen Si" and "Qian" trigrams, "Tong Bian" and "Heng" trigrams, "Ding Shi" and "Gen" trigrams, "Rong Cai" and "Sun" trigrams, "Yang Qi" and "Wu Wang" trigrams, "Zhi Xia" and "Xiao Guo" trigrams. Researching the relationship between "Wen Xin Diao Long" and "Yi Gua" and you can find that Liu Xie coped a lot from the theoretical system of "Zhou Yi".
