Humanistic Values Of Technological Innovation

It is now established that technological innovation, as well as science and technology, loads humanistic values. However, how does technological innovation, as a new way of being of science and technology in the modern society, load humanistic values? How do we treat the conflict phenomenon in humanistic values of technological innovation in contemporary society? Can we resolve it? How do we resolve it? This dissertation, proceeding from the practical materialism, discusses the connotation and the law of the development of humanistic values of technology innovation, clarifies the root and the mechanism of alienation of technological innovation, looks for the methods to resolve alienation of technology innovation, puts forward the goal, principles and path of humanistic values of technology innovation, and speeds up the historical process of human being’s all-round and free development.In chapterⅠ, this dissertation clarifies philosophically the relation between science, technology and technological innovation; grounded in Marxist historical materialism, puts forward the Marxist humanistic values of technology innovation; elaborates the subjects and the objects of technology innovation and their interaction. In the author’s opinion, humanistic values are that, on certain market conditions, the subjects of technical innovation, in terms of innovation activities, change the form of the objects of technical innovation, and meet effect relation of mutual requirement between survival and development, and between emancipation and freedom. Humanistic values of technology innovation can be divided into survival value, development value, emancipation value and freedom value of human being.In chapterⅡ, from the three dimensions of the relations between human being and nature, between human and society, between different persons, this dissertation surveys, in the historical course of five revolutions of science and technology (technological innovation) from modern times, the improving roles by technological innovation (science and technology) on survival, development, emancipation and freedom; elaborates the internal relation among survival value, development value, emancipation value and freedom value of human being, which are contained in humanistic values of technological innovation; demonstrates that the practices of technological innovation are revolution power and powerful lever to human being’s all-round and free development. Technological innovation (science and technology) has chanted and manifested humanistic value since modern times.In chapterⅢ, the progress and the revolution of science and technology (technological innovation) are inseparable from the people’s living conditions, knowledge level, the mode of thinking and the degree of freedom in the historical condition at that time. In other words, humanistic values in social historical conditions influence the orientation, speed and scale of technological innovation. On the basis of the Renaissance, the Enlightenment and the three contemporary thought emancipation movements of China, this dissertation further demonstrates that, the degrees of the people’s thought emancipation and freedom, in a given historical context, are positively correlated with the progress and the revolution of science and technology (technological innovation). That is to say, the more radical the emancipation and the freedom are, the more rapidly science and technology develop (technological innovation). Natures of countries, forms of governments, spirits of the nations and shapes of cultures have an influence, sometimes decisive influence, on technology innovation.In chapterⅣ, in the capitalist private ownership, the alienation of labor and the forced division of labor have led to complete separation between technological innovation and the human emancipation and freedom, so the alienation of technical innovation arise. This article, starting from the concept of alienation of Marxist technological innovation, clarifies the source, mechanism and outlet of the alienation of technological innovation. From the epistemological point of view, the alienation of technological innovation is the division between "materialness" and "humanity". The alienation of technological innovation, from the ontological point of view, is the division between its subjects and objects. Only productive force improves greatly can the capitalism perish and the alienation of technological innovation be completely denied.In chapterⅤ, the socialist society actively sublates the capitalist society. In the Chinese socialist modernization construction, We should not only vigorously develop technological innovation, but also overcome the negative effects of technological innovation on human being; not only persist people-oriented, and advocate actively and implement new ideas that the developments of humanized technological innovation and eco-technology innovation should be integrated, but also strengthen the construction of democracy, legal system, ethics and morality, not only advocate the scientific concept of production and consumption, but also fully value human rights of survival, development, emancipation, emancipation, and accelerate socio-historical process of human being’s all-round and free development. By then, to complete the naturalism is to complete the humanism, the ideal that each person’s free development is the condition of all person’s will come true, and humanistic values of technology innovation will be truly realized.
