Taking social responsibility is our country state-owned enterpriseses’characteristics and advantage, it is also the inherent requirement and nature ofmission of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics. From the founding ofthe Chinese state-owned enterprises,they began to assume social responsibility. Afterthe baptism of more than half a century, accumulating valuable experience, it addedprecious wealth for the worldwide social responsibility theory construction andpractice development. In the meanwhile, it also made a significant contribution toadvancing the state-owned enterprises’ responsibility in our country.State-owned enterprises is our country’s important economic pillar, it owns thespecial economiac attribute and social attribute that a non-state enterprises andforeign state-owned enterprises do not have.Research on the social responsibility ofstate-owned enterprises not only has China’s economic significance under thebackground of the sample, but also helps to promote the localization process ofstate-owned enterprises’social responsibility in China. This study based on China’snational conditions,making an organic combination of the state-owned enterprisestaking the social responsibility and the Chinese socialist system. Making twodimensions’analysis of theory and practice synchronously. While investigating thetheoretical roots of social responsibility of state-owned enterprises, dividing thestate-owned enterprises’ social responsibility into three historical stages. Throughpractical investigation, this paper analyzes the major achievement of the socialresponsibility of state-owned enterprises, summarizes the lessons and experiences ofsocial responsibility that the state-owned enterprises bear,puts forward that the socialresponsibility state-owned enterprises take is currently faced with many challengesand problems, and investigation is made about the successful experience andtypical model of foreign state-owned enterprises, whcih provides reference andenlightenment for our country state-owned enterprises taking the social responsibility.On the basis of all those, putting forward the strategies and ways for the improvement of our country’s state-owned enterprises to take social responsibilities.This study aims to explore social responsibility theory of state-owned enterprisewith Chinese characteristics, consists of seven parts:The first part is the introduction. It states the basic knowledge of the presentstudy, introduces the research background, the selected topic significance and value,research status at home and abroad, research ideas and methods, also possibleinnovations.The second part is the summary. Narrating the basic concept of the introduction,combing the basic kernel of state-owned enterprises’ social responsibility andextension, defining the scope of the research object of this paper and clarifying thenature of the state-owned enterprises’ social responsibility, also the development andevolution characteristics of the basic theory and basic knowledge. Analyzing thesimilarities and differences of how the state-owned enterprises and non-state-ownedenterprises, state-owned enterprises in China and the west non-state enterprise takingthe social responsibility. Solving the problem of concept confusion, ambiguity and soon. On the basis, making clear the basic content of our country state-ownedenterprises’ social responsibility.The third part is the theory of our country enterprises’ social responsibility.Our country state-owned enterprises’ social responsibility is under the guidance ofmarxist theory, therefore, this paper firstly combed the Marx, Engels, Lenin andother revolutionary thoughts and theory of enterprises’ social responsibility.Systemically analyzes practical thoughgts about how of the state-owned enterprisescarry out the social responsibility in the Mao zedong, Deng xiaoping, Jiang zeminand Hu jintao and Xi jinping five generation of collective leadership of the party.This is the theoretical source of state-owned enterprises’ social responsibility, alsothe ethics thought in ancient China and the western theory of enterprises’ socialresponsibility has value and practical significance for our country state-ownedenterprises’ social responsibility. This article also carries on the focused analysis andinvestigation. The fourth part is about the historical evolution and main achievementsour ofcountry enterprises’ society responsibility. Being the pillar of the state economy,state-owned enterprises taking different responsibilities in China’s socialist economicconstruction and modernization of different historical period. This chapter, based onChina’s economic and the real change of social system, making historical review andanalysis of the pracitical process of our country state-owned enterprises’socialresponsibility. It can be divided into the planned economy era of the socialresponsibility of state-owned enterprises, state-owned enterprises in the early yearsof the reform and opening up, social responsibility and the comprehensiveconstruction in the affluent social period, the social responsibility of state-ownedenterprises, such as the three historical stages. Based on those, from the perspectiveof macro and micro,making an objective evaluation of the achievements andcontributions of the social responsibility of state-owned enterprises.The fifth part is about the problems and reasons of our contry state-ownedenterprises’ social responsibility. Although our country state-ownedenterprises’social responsibility makes important contribution to national economicdevelopment and social progress. However, the current state-owned enterprises alsoexist in the process of social responsibility such as social responsibility performanceof the mechanism is not sound, the relative lack of worker’s rights and interests, theconsumer rights and interests is difficult to get effective guarantee, the enterprises’production safety and credibility crisis, as well as some prominent problems, such asenterprises’ management personnel serious corruption. These problems mainlycaused by enterprises’ difficult points, system, improper feedback and consciousness.The sixth part is divided into the experience and enlightenment of state-ownedenterprises’ social responsibility of western. By others’ faults, wise men correct theirown. In the modern sense, enterprises’ social responsibility theory was firstproposed by the western developed capitalist countries and their practice, this sectionselect Russia and other countries successful samples to analyze. Anayzing themotivation and logic of western countries actively taking the enterprises’social responsibility, fully absorb and draw lessons from western state-ownedenterprises’social responsibility of the experience, lessons, patterns, and practices. Ithas significant reference value and enlightenment to perfect our country state-ownedenterprises’social responsibility.The seventh part is the realistic approach for improving our countrystate-owned enterprises’ social responsibility. At present, our country state-ownedenterprise society responsibility is faced with the impact of internal and externalfactors and constraints. Therefore, improving and perfecting the social responsibilityof state-owned enterprises need to be done from the dimension of top-level designand system comprehensively, from two dimensions to improve the externalenvironment and internal environment, need enterprise, government and society,three main effective cooperation, accurate power, the propulsion, need improve andperfect the system from consciousness, idea, system, the rule of law, supervision andmechanism dimensions. Under the premise of the economic and social benefits ofstate-owned enterprises, improving the ability and level of social responsibility.
