This paper not only discusses the Yangtze River delta region since reform andopening up economic growth mechanism, but also demonstrates the Yangtze Riverdelta region of the relationship between human capital and economic growth bytheoretical analysis and the empirical research method of combining, with the humancapital as the breakthrough point.Paper first to the economic growth theory and human capital theory to conducta comprehensive review, and carding the architecture between the two, to measurehuman capital, then with the development of human capital theory in this paper, theinherent logic relation between economic growth and human capital, thus establishedthe theory premise of the full text structure and basis.Secondly, based on the theory of human capital and economic growth theory,separately from the quality and quantity of human capital, human capital distributionbetween urban and rural areas and industries, and the intelligence of human capitalstructure in detail in this paper, the status of human capital in Yangtze riverdelta.Followed by relying on the solow model building contains material capital,human capital and the rate of population increase three variables of MEW modelhuman capital output effect and growth effect of Yangtze river delta to the empiricalanalysis, and the MRW model and expand MRW model after comparing the effectsof human capital on economic growth.Followed by human capital factors in theregion of Yangtze river delta region economic growth have much effect werediscussed, and draw the conclusion:First, will significantly improve the inputs topromote national economic growth, and human capital investment on economicgrowth of the country’s role is not big, rough characteristics evident in the nationaleconomic growth. Also clear to adjust the economic growth pattern, will march to a new road to industrialization.Second, Shanghai, jiangsu, zhejiang fixed assetinvestment on their respective has certain positive role in promoting economicgrowth, fixed assets investment, every1%increase can bring three provinces andcities economy grew by0.33%,0.24%,0.28%, therefore, the investment’scontribution to the economic growth in Yangtze river delta is significant.Thirdly,compared with the national economic growth, economic growth in Yangtze riverdelta region, is more significant factor is the human capital, in addition to zhejiangeducation spending, Shanghai medical and health care spending variables, choosingthe two types of human capital investment is a significant promoting effect oneconomic growth, which formed a contrast with the situation.Fourthly, althoughShanghai health spending has negative effect on economic growth, but on the whole,human capital investment to the economic growth of Shanghai net effect ispositive.Shanghai each kind of human capital increased by1%, it will drive the GDProse0.16%. This is enough, Yangtze river delta local government investment inhuman capital helps to promote local economic growth.Fifthly, compared with thenational economic growth, human capital for the Yangtze river delta is more obviousrole in promoting economic growth.As a result, we can will increase human capitalcontribution to the national economic growth as zero, while Shanghai, jiangsu,zhejiang, anhui, jiangxi two types of human capital investment has increased by1%,can drive the corresponding economic growth were0.16%,0.45%,0.3%,0.23%,0.3%.Through the analysis of the Yangtze river delta human capital situation, foundthat the formation process of Yangtze river delta region human capital also has manyproblems, for the problems faced by human capital accumulation in Yangtze riverdelta, this paper puts forward relevant policy Suggestions.
