| Evolution of industrial investment structure is a slowly changing process of global or local industrial investment structural system. In this process, there are different motivation factors and influencing factors and their relations is complex; in their common effect, whether local change causes global change, or global change leads to local change, which forms the evolution of industrial investment structure.Evolutin of industrial investment structure is one of the reasons for the evolution of industrial structure and economic structure. Not only is the formation of industrial structure and economic structure the result of the original industrial investment structure, but also the upgrade of industrial structure and economic structure depends on the upgrade of industrial investment structure. Therefore, one of the basis of research of evolution of industrial structure and economic structure is the research of evolution of industrial investment structure. The perpose, which researches evolution of industrial investment structure, is to analize thee global or local changes of industrial investment structural system and the influencing factors which are the causes of these changes, and to explore the rule of evolution of industrial investment structure.There are many factors that can affect evolution of industrial investment structure, among which, natural resources factors, policy factors, technical factors, previous investment and demand factor are the most important factors of evolution of industrial investment structure. The five main factors on the role of evolution of industrial investment structure are not consistent,and their influence in different periods has obvious differences. This article, on the basis of Shanxi, which has obviouos characteristics of resource area, with the different effects of the five important factors in the different periods, proposes that the evolution of industrial investment structure in resource area goes through three different stages, namely the stage of single factor decided, stange of single decided to weaken and stage of many factors decided. In every stage, the five important factors have different decided effect on evolution of industrial investment structure, but their relations are closely linked, and their common effect promotes evolution of industrial investment structure in the resource area.According to different effect of influencing factors on evolution of industrial investment structure, this article can be divided into three periods, which is 1950-1979, 1980-1999 and 2000-2010, and with collecting many documents and related data, analizes the bachground, policies and details of evolution of industrial investment structure in every stage, and then analizes the character of evolution of industrial investment structure in detail in the terms of three big industrial investment structureal change, the three big industrial internal structural change, regional investment structural changes and capital structural changes in every period. It uses factor analysis on five important influencing factors of evolution of industrial investment structure according to its formed causes in every period; it also uses econometric analysis on the effect of economical development in Shanxi from evolution of industrial investment structure in every period.The research shows that evolution of industrial investment structure in 1950-1979 establishes the path of industrialization in Shanxi, especially the development of heavy industry; with focusing on the development of heary industry, evolution of industrial investment structure in 1980-1999 leads to unreasonable industrial investment structure and negative effect on the economy in Shanxi, and in terms of three industrial internal structural change, only the economic benefits of the third industrial internal structural change is positive; and because of the economic benefits of the second industrial internal structural change, the whole economic benefits of the evolution of industrial investment structure in 2000-2010 is significantly improved. It also shows that, from 1950 to 2010, in the five main factors influencing the evolution of industrial investment structure, natural factor, policy factor and demand factor are far greater than the influence of technological factor and investment factor, but the influence of technological factor appears gradually, especially in the 2000-2010, but for the overall impact of shanxi industrial investment structural change is still relatively small.This article uses cointegration test to study the effect on the ecnonomcal increase in Shanxi from the evolution of industrial investment structure in 1980-2010. It shows that all of the evolution of three industrial investment structure affects local GDP in Shanxi, but the impact on the first industrial output is the largest, and the minimal on the second industry output. The whole investment in fixed assets has prositive impact on the second industrial output and has negative impact on the first and third industrial output.In addition, this article especially studies the impatct of national investment on the evolution of industrial investment structure in 1950-2010. It shows that the national demand for economical resources and its own supply advantage of resource in Shanxi are the most important factors of national investment in Shanxi. The state initially makes decision on the evolution of industrial investment structure in 1950-1979,but from 1980 to 2010, with reducing on national investment scale, the impact from national investment on the evolution of industrial investment structure gradually decreases, and the influence from the national investment policy, especially energy investment policy, on the evolution of industrial investment structure is much bigger.
