Hairdressing industry is an industry of fashion. It guides the tendency of fashion. Taiwan’s hairdressing industry has become one of very important industries nowadays. The Economy of scale has become a market more than hundred billion NTD in a year. As a result, they are trying very hard to expend their service through market share and competitiveness.In 1970’s, Taiwan’s hairdressing industry already had the concept of the Franchise Chain. In 1980’s, the industry just developed. Since the year of 2000, the Franchise Chain has reached to the stage of the maturity. Nowadays the market for the hairdressing Franchise Chain is very competitive, facing a lot of harsh competition. It is important to upgrade the advantage in competition. It also needs to have hairdressing Franchise Chain localized and globalized at the same. Besides, they need to show the image globally to the customers. In order to flourish the hairdressing industry and upgrade competitiveness, we should well organize and analyze the hairdressing Franchise Chain to make more business opportunities and developments, It is believed that is the way the hairdressing business can keep progressing and upgrading.For those who run the hairdressing industry for more than 10 years, most of start-ups are skilled workers. A professional hair designer takes for 3-5 years or more to be trained. More than 90% of start-ups are professional hair designers, they are not only learning the current fashion from the market, but also learning the management techniques to manage their own business. How can they get an easy tool to manage and assist systemize the internal management? They should have some time to think it over and also should consider another important issue of establishing branches in the future. This issue will be more challenge to the company. The company not only maintain the leading position of the industry, but also keep increasing branches in very competitive market.Taiwan’s economic started bumming since 1980’s, many famous Japanese hair designers came to Taiwan to teach, In Jan.1990, the first professional hairdressing magazine has started publishing in Taiwan, Soon after, Taiwan’s hairdressing market has been affected by the Japanese-style hairdressing industry for more than 30 years. As we can see, the Taiwan’s hairdressing market is mixed with the Taiwanese and Japanese culture. It will still continue affecting the way Taiwanese people to appreciate the beauty of the culture and the fashion. The interaction between Taiwanese hairdressing industry and Japanese hairdressing industry has been combining for so long, we can learn advantage from the Japanese market and also develop our own local hairdressing style by upgrading Professional competence and create a better business opportunity.The near-by neighbor, Japan, the economy is in a slump these years, also the population is aged, we can learn the experience to survive in the market from Japan. In Taiwan, it was seller’s market in 1970’s. The market came to the age of a shelf competition in 1980’s. It’s the age of the false consuming saturation in 1990’s. In the year of 2000 is the age of the substance consuming saturation. Since the year of 2001, the market has come to the age of low desire, even we have the price come down in advance, but still cannot guarantee the product can be sold. Taiwan-based hairdressing enterprise, Mentor, is the first company to set up the CIS system as a service unit, soon after, they start developing branches as chain stores. It was the leader of the hairdressing industry in Taiwan, Mentor has many brands and branches for more than 300 stores. Showlin-salon also has many brands and branches for more than 200 stores, which is including the high quality brands and low price chain stores. Taiwan is facing the economic recession these years, the problem comes from the low birth rate. Maybe the problem of the aging population in Taiwan will become the worst area compare with Japan in 2033. The business of the hairdressing Franchise Chain is the industry of the Labor intensive, the labor’s problems will be influenced with the business rapidly and seriously.According to the analysis of results and induction, Taiwanese hairdressing Franchise Chain’s evaluation is in order as follows, brand image, technology combining design, Human Resources management, technology service creativity, budget management, low price policy, training program system, internal marketing, Joint investment and developing branches, technological service diversity, Incentives sell item diversity.According to the developing evaluation of the Franchise Chain, we analyze the development of the hairdressing business.10 points stand for full marks, if the marks more than 6 points will be much easier to be successful than that of marking below 6 points. After analyzing and getting the result, we can understand what weakness we should improve and what kind of advantage we have. The value is very practical and useful.
