The Calcium-containing polyaluminum chloride (PACCa) and the Calcium-containing poly-ferric aluminum chloride (PAFCCa) are called a kinds of cagoulants with character of China because of their production with powder of calcium aluminate and smelting slag of pyrites as main raw materials. Since 1990, PACCa and PAFCCa have been a kinds of main cagoulants in water or waste water treatment in China, but their structure of those of dominant species which place main cagoulation-floculation function still been seen as Al13 by men, as a result, this hinders greatly its developing as an advanced product and the studying deeply for its cagoulation-floculation mechanism of PAFCCa.The cruces of cagoulation-floculation involves the interactions of interface of particles. Therefore, it is essential that to understand the structure and structural electric charge of which have neither been realized nor dissolved in PACCa and PAFCCa. And this can be characterized with the help of advanced mineralogical spectrum analysis technology . To rise the efficiency of utilization of the industrial waste residue this kind of nontraditional mineral re-sources and to improve the high-level technique of removing and utilizing for particles in water and waste treatment , application of advanced mineralogical spectrum analysis technology maybe is a new combining point of different disciplines.Synthesized comparative samples polyaluminum chloride (PACNa), (PACCa), poly ferric chloride (PFCNa) (PFCCa) with NaOH, Ca(OH)2 as basicity dose respectively, and 45 samples of different basicities and various n(Al)/n(Fe) polyaluminum ferric chloride(PAFCNa) as well as, 45 samples of PAFCCa. Prepared PAFCCa with Industrial materials. Their physico-chemical properties, such as pH relaxation, electric conductivity changes with aging time, visible spectra etc. were studied, and their coagulating effect and stability were tested and observed. At the same times the nano-colloidal particle size alteration of Fe(III) hydroxyl polymer and Al-Fe co-aggregate with Al/Fe molar ratio and basicities (B=[OH]/[A1+Fe]) in PAFC solutions were studied.The structural characterization of all of the air-dried samples synthesized with two basicity doses and the product prepared with mineral materials were carried out respectively by Transmission and Scan Electron Microscopy coupled with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (TEM-EDS,SEM-EDS),and Selected Region Electron...
