Although there are many synthetical methods, the goal is to find an economical and effective approach that can be used for synthesizing nanostructures with different configurations for researchers. The aim of this paper is to explore the synthesis of nanomaterials with different configurations by porous AAO templates or ordinary glass assisted hydrothermal and solvothermal methods. The as-prepared nanomaterials are characterized and their growth mechanism is investigated. Thereinto, the obtained nanoarrays and network are very interesting, they may offer an opportunity for the further investigation of their potential applications. The major contents can be summarized as follows:1. Oxalic acid as an electrolyte, orderly porous AAO templates were obtained by two-step anodization. Various factors that influenced the anodization process were investigated. The as-prepared templates were characterized by means of XRD,SEM and AFM, and a possible growth mechanism was discussed.2. Ag nanoparticles that can be used as a SERS substrate were prepared via ethanol-thermal method assisted by AAO template, and after a heat treatment, Ag nanorods were obtained. Their sizes were consistent with the diameter of the pore. Ag nanotubes with a diameter according that of the pore were prepared via glycol-thermal method assisted by AAO template. Through ultrasonic dispersion, Ag nanorings were obtained. Vertical-aligned Ag nanoflake arrays were fabricated on the surface of an anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) template under a hydrothermal condition.lt is very interesting that these sheet structures have zigzag edges and they look like leaves.A novel CuO netlike nanostructure was fabricated on the surface of AAO templates under a hydrothermal condition. Through a contrastive experiment, it revealed that the AAO template may play a key role in the reaction. Finally, the synthesis of nanomaterials on AAO templates assisted hydrothermal and solvothermal methods were discussed. Using the synthetical strategy, nanostructures with different configurations were obtained successfully.3. Ag thin films were prepared via ordinary glass assisted hydrothermal and solvothermal methods. XRD patterns indicated that films were composed of Ag crystal particle with a diameter of several tens nanometer. Optical properties of films were studied using UV-Vis spectrophotometer and spectroscopic ellipsometry, and a possible growth mechanism was discussed. This work may provide a new way to make thin films by liquid-phase reaction.4. Different shapes of nano CuO were obtained by a hydrothermal method, and the morphology of products is strongly dependent on the molar ratio of reactants. The influences of surfactants and time on the morphology of products were studied, respectively. The possible growth mechanism of CuO was discussed...
