Porous materials are widely used in basic research and applied research because of their unique properties. Mesoporous materials are an important subset of porous materials. Since mesoporous materials were born, they have attracted tremendous interest from physical, chemical and material field, and have quickly became a hot topic in nanoscience. New organic functionalized mesoporous materials not only possess their nature characters, such as highly ordered pore structure, a single distribution of pore sizes, adjustable pore size, high thermal stability and hydrothermal stability, but also possess more characters and can be widely used, because the organic components were introduced. In this thesis, we focus on synthesis of new organic functionalized mesoporous materials. Several mesoporous materials have been synthesized, and adsorption or drug delivery properties have been investgated. The original researches have listed as following:Firstly, two functionalized SBA-15mesoporous materials were prepared by simple synthesis methods. And the characteristic methods suggest that the modification was successful. Additionally, the adsorption of Rhodamine B (RB) showed MPTMS modified SBA-15and polymerized sol-gel SBA-15have better adsorption capacities than uumodified SBA-15. Furthermore, compared with the adsorption of other substances, two functionalized SBA-15mesoporous materials showed special adsorption capacity on RB.Secondly, β-CD functionalized SBA-15mesoporous materials have been prepared successfully by simple synthetic methods. They were characterized by fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Additionally, β-CD modified SBA-15showed a better adsorption capacity for clenbuterol than uunodified SBA-15.Thirdly, the silicon nanocrystals (ncSi) were prepared by the thermal treatment of (HSiO1.5)n sol-gel glasses. Then thermally-initiated hydrosilylation was used to prepare oligo-vinyltriethoxysilane terminal ncSi, which is well soluable and exhibit intense photoluminescence.Subsequently, periodic mesoporous organosilica (ncSi-PMO) was prepared using the evaporation-induced self-assembly method in both powder and thin film morphologies, and then the meso-structure was characterized. These materials exhibit high surface area and well ordered porous structures. Meanwhile, ncSi are homogeneously distributed in the materials by self-assembly process. Therefore, they present wonderful fluorescence. Combined with ncSi and meso-structure, ncSi-PMO hold promises in areas. We investigated the loading and release of ibuprofen on ncSi-PMO.
