In this paper, excellent performance, richful resources, environmental friendly bacterial cellulose was used as raw materials to prepare a new biodegradable cellulose fibers by systematically studying both the structure, properties and solubility of bacterial cellulose and rheological properties and wet spinning process of bacterial cellulose solution. The study could expand bacterial cellulose as a fiber material used in textiles, save land resources, reduce occupation of cultivated land, protect the environment, recycle the solvent without pollution. In addition, bacterial cellulose fiber with its excellent properties provided a new idea on the functional textiles. The development of this new fiber will make great theoretical and practical value in medical, industrial and ordinary textiles. The paper studied the structure and properties of BC cultivated in laboratory and compressed Nata, and confirmed that they were the same thing. In order to dissolving bacterial cellulose better, we presented the ethylenediamine activation process to BC. Comparing the solubility of activated BC in [AMIM]Cl ionic liquid, NMMO, PF/DMSO and other solvents, we abtained the best solvent system LiCl/DMAc and the best solution conditions under the system. FT-IR,XRD,DG-DTG,SEM and other measure methods proved the change of structure and properties of the bacterial cellulose before and after dissolution..On this basis, We discovered the rheology of the bacterial cellulose solution in order to get ideal spinning performance, then we found that the solution was "shear thinning" type of non-Newtonian fluids with good spinnability. Therefore we practiced the wet spinning process on solution concentration, coagulation system, drawing and washing conditions and so on. The best forming conditions of bacterial cellulose fibers was concluded. After testing, we confirmed that the bacterial cellulose fibers could meet the performance requirements of textiles with better mechanical properties and dyeing performance.
