High-speed, convenient and more load-carrying are the main features of urban rail transportation system. In order to avoid the city traffic jam, we need to vigorously develop the urban rail transportation system, with metro and light rail in lead. The urban rail transportation system is made up of multiple subsystems, and these subsystems need to support and cooperate with others. The signaling system is the key system to assure its safety and high efficiency.With the rapid development of computer technology and modern communication, especially the wireless communication and its standard formulation, the Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) has been applied and accepted by the signaling circles. The CBTC is a new generation of signaling system, and it has break through the limit of fixed block and track circuit. The high-precision train localized and continuous train-to-wayside communication can provide more accurate train location determination, continuous safe train separation and over speed protection, so the trains can be running safely with shorter separation. The research and development for CBTC signaling system represent the development direction of urban rail signaling in the 21st century. CBTC is a more efficient and flexible system, and the high train density and shorter separation are the most outstanding features.With the new projects being completed and put into service in our country, the urban transportation network has been established step by step. The Intelligent CBTC urban rail transportation dispatching system will be the research hotspots from now on. The dispatching is the important issue to guarantee the safe and on time operation, and its importance is self-evident. To keep the service time reliability and stability is the key issue to the urban rail transportation, and on the premise of safety the chief aim is to increase the efficiency. As the key component of Intelligent CBTC urban rail transportation dispatching system, auto train operation adjustment function can improve operation managerial levels and increase efficiency, and it also a key evaluation criterion of operation level. The basic feature and difficulty of train operation adjustment are as following:too much constraint conditions; dynamics, real-time and the trains cannot running on schedule due to affected by many objective factor; too much Optimization evaluation, the minimal total time of behind schedule and minimal quantity of train behind schedule are always used in traditional research. In addition, the better train operation modeling can analysis the CBTC dispatching system better. Using model to optimize the auto train operation adjustment has great theoretic meanings and actual value, and it also can increase scientificalness of dispatching, decrease the dispatcher's workload, increase the degree of system automation. And this is also the main topic of this dissertation.This dissertation mainly focus on the following innovative researching:(1) Make an intensive study of urban rail transportation train operation adjustment. Firstly, it was from the study of CBTC basic theory and structure, that we further described the CBTC subsystem, mainly feather and functions. Based on this, we discussed the reason and affection of train behind schedule, draw into the main mathematical formula of train operation, analysis the train operation principle, then described the common tactics, theory, open problems and research status of auto train operation adjustment in details.(2) Modeling the CBTC rail transportation system with colored Petri nets. Firstly, introduced the Petri nets and colored Petri nets. Then, analyzed the process of train controlling. At last, abstracted and described the information that related to train operation with the top down design. Using CPN Tools to build the basic modeling and separate modeling. In this dissertation, the urban rail transportation system modeling is build to provide the predicted train operation data and train operation adjustment foundation for system.(3) In connection with train operation adjustment optimize, the author presented that operation adjustment has the issue of optimization grouping which is difficult to deal with by NP. To consider the non-determinacy and self-adjustment of train operation, on the basis of using timing Petri nets to build modeling, and using the more effective parallel of quantum encoding and immune quantum evolution algorithm to achieve globally optimal solution with rapid convergence. In a certain extent, this algorithm avoids local optimum which the traditional genetic algorithm is easily to restrict in, and definite the train operation adjustment method quickly and correctly.(4) In order to verify that the modeling and operation adjustment optimize presented in this dissertation is useful for urban rail dispatching research, the author design and realize an urban rail dispatching computer simulator system. This dissertation described the design scheme, software architecture, hardware configuration and functions of simulator system, and discussed software module partition and module modeling. Analyze the strategy, functions and realize difficulty of simulator system. Using object-oriented analysis, flow chart and sequence chart to realize and show the system functions and relationship between object. So the system is extendible. The simulator software includes HMI, train operation adjustment, auto train tracking, timetable editing and adjustment, command collision detection, etc. Meanwhile, present the rapid adjustment method to achieve train even separation and adjustment method for Y-type route. Integrallty realize the key arithmetic and technical difficulty of urban rail transportation simulator system. The statistics and analysis of simulation data, RAMS calculation provide dependable basis for system realizing.(5) Design a departure time indication (DTI) system which is supporting multiple protocols. The DTI system is an important accessory system. The DTI display the result of train operation adjustment, and this is driver's important driving basis. This dissertation described the system structure, interface, functions and software structure of the multiple protocols DTI.The building and realizing of urban rail dispatching system will fundamentally increase the system real-time control and strain capacity. The research of intelligent urban CBTC dispatching system that presented in this dissertation has significance in theory and in practice.
