In recent years, a new concept mirror.based on flexible membrane has beendeveloped.Membrane reflectors have become promising mirrors for space sciencefields,for their favorable properties in low area density,low producing costs and thereliability easy to fold and deploy.it is proved that the space membrane reflectors canmeet the requirement of ultra lightweight and super-size space opticalsystems.Foreign Research institutes have carried out a lot of work in this area, andhave achieved outstanding results.large-diameter electrostatically figured membranemirror has only just begun in china.Multi-electrode electrostatically figuredmembrane mirror shaping control, inhibition of various types of the influence factorsof surface shape and membrane mirror shape tests are the key technologies should beresearched. So this paper includes multi-electrode electrostatically figured membranemirror shaping control and test.Fristly,current status and research development of space membrane reflectors isintroduced, including key technologies of electrostatically figured membrane mirror.And the shapes of membrane mirror applied by uniform loads were studied by karmanlarge deformation theory.and non-uniform loads for paraboloid were solved.non-uniform loads solved have been verified.by Structural/optical integrated analysisand can improve shape accuracy.Secondly,after anasysing some methods of surface shape control some simple methods were given.And a simple semi-analytical method of surface shape controlbased on inverse approach for engineering was proposed. the method given can beused to control membrane mirror surface shape.for desired shape and better than theoriginal method. basic principle and experimental ideas for membrane mirror shapeadjustment were given to improve surface accuracy.and then base on karman large deformation theory,the factors which influence surfaceshape and compensation method have been introduced.and then based on parallelplate condensor and other models, movement of membrane and stability range andcontrol scheme have been research.At last an electrostatic membrane mirror with effective aperture of300mm and10electrodes in three annuluses was built. Primarily tests have been done on membranematerial and membrane mirror property. the method of shape measurement was givenbase on fringe projection. the membrane control and measurement experiments havebeen done and the results indicate that the flexible membrane surface controlled bythe semi-analytical method reduced.the law of uniform temperature fluctuations onmembrane mirror have been verified by experment. and compensation method wasgiven by the results.The researches in this paper have finished some works of membrane mirror surfaceshape control and surface accuracy improvement. It lays the groundwork for the nextwork of electrostatically figured membrane mirror technology and its practicability.
