| Purpose To investigate the changes of corneal aspherical parameter and lacrimal film parameter after cataract phacoemulsification.Methods 102cases (146 eyes) that underwent ultrasonic phacoemulsification were divided into 2 groups,which is groupA (corneal incision) and group B (scleral incision).The subjective complains of dry eye, tear break-up time, corneal fluorescein staining and corneal map were measured preoperatively and 1 day,lweek,1 month and 3month postoperatively.Resultsâ‘ TBUT of 1 day (8.500±3.477s),1week (10.966±3.970s) and 1month(13.418±3.898s) postoperatively were shorter than that preoperatively (15.0±4.318s); corneal fluorescein staining and dry eye syndromes changed significantly 1week postoperatively, and went normally after 3months.â‘¡The corneal Q-value changed apparently 1 month postoperatively (P<0.05);there is no statistical significance between group A and B,except 1 day posteratively.â‘¢Pearson correlation between changes of Q-value and TBUT, statistical correlation was found 1 day after surgery.Conclusions In the early stage after phacoemulsification,corneal aspherical and lacrimal film parameter changed; statistical correlation was found between them in the early phase after surgery. Purpose To study the changes of tear epidermal growth factor concentration after phacoemulsification.Methods 57 cataract patients from Linyi city Hospital were tested the tear EGF concentration, TBUT, TCR and schirmerâ… preoperatively and 1 day,7 days and 1 month postoperatively. The tear EGF concentration was examined by enzyme-linked immunoassay(ELISA).The correlation between EGF concentration and TBUT,schirmer I and TCR was also tested.Resultsâ‘ The tear EGF concentration of preoperatively, lday,7days and 30days postoperatively were 1723.52±54.14pg/ml,2469.33±89.48pg/ml, 1953.11±89.48pg/ml and 1728.46±78.57pg/ml. The changes during 1 week postoperatively was statistical significant.â‘¡Tear clearance rate changed smightly, there was no statistical significant between properatively and postoperatively.â‘¢Tear film break-up time and schirmer I test changed apparently before and after surgery, and there were statistical significance during the period.â‘£There was correlation between schirmer I test and tear EGF concentration,and no correlation was found between TBUT, TCR and EGF concentration.Conclusion After phacoemulsification, EGF concentration elevated in a short period, then went down normally, and EGF concentration correlated with the schirmer I test. |
