Cerebrovascular disease is a common, frepuently encountered disease in the elderly. The morbility, deformity and, mortality rates are very high. The disease is in front rank of mortality reasons in many countries. More than 75% survival leaves vary degree sequela.The prevention and therapy of cerebrovascular disease have been definitely increasing, but no breakthrough development. One main reason is misty to its pathogenesis. Near decades, people studyed cerebral ischemia in molecular biology, pathology, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology. And considered cerebral ischemia come down to free radical infury, energy metabolism dysfunction, calcemia overloading, and excitatory amino acid(EAA), nitric oxide(NO), endothelin(ET). Cell transmembrane information transmission has the main and major effects in nervous system and the entire vital activity. The originate and development of many diseases have direct or indirect relationship to cell signal transduction abnormality.The corn issue in ischemic cerebrovascular disease is dysneuria caused by neuron damage. Thus, the above all work is to protect and resume neuron function. Neuropretective drug can boost up neuron tolerate to ischemia, ultimately accelerate function comeback. To study effective drug is a keystone work. Chinese Traditional Medicine(CTM)on the basis of multicomponent, pluriarticulate, excessive target therapy advantage, may become neuropretective drug breakthrough point. CTM has piled up long-term theory exploration and therapy experience. We should induct neuromolecular biology in CTM progress. In the way, it is propitious to make clear illness occur, development and CTM therapeutic molecule mechanism.The task was to imvestigate the development changes of myristoylated alanine-rich C kinase substrate(MARCKS) phosphorylation and mRNA expression in acute ischemia hippocampus and cortex, to establish the relationship between these changes and ischemia damage, to discuss and approve TCM neuropretection effect to ischemia from protein and gene level, forethermore, to study ischemia damage toxin harm brain collaterals theory.
