Until now there are no perfect multidrug resistance reversing drugs coming into clinic, so to find drugs which are low toxic, high effective, have good specificity function and extensive acting target has been the key problem to solve.Long clinical practice has proved that chinese traditional medicine combining chemotherapy may ameliorate the leukemia sufferers'clinical symptoms, improve the remission rate and life quality, prolong their survival time. The therapy mechanism correlates with the following factors, chinese traditional medicine may recuperate the sufferers'health, boost the immunity, kill the leukemia cells and induce the leukemia cells'apoptosis, besides chinese traditional medicine can reverse the leukemia multidrug resistance. In recent years, studies certificate that some chinese traditional medicine possess the bioactive constituents to reverse the multidrug resistance, which shows chinese traditional medicine have significant practical importance and potential value of practicability in improving the curative effects of the refractory leukemia and chinese traditional medicines deserve lucubrate. So based on the past foundational study and clinical preliminary test, we adopt random, double-blind and multicenters'cases parallel study methods, choose"compounding Fritillary Bulb granule"as treatment drugs, choose"malt granule"as contrast drugs, choose refractory acute leukemia patients as study objects, choose clinical remission rate as the main evaluation indicatrix, and establish the uniform effects evaluating standards, study the clinical curative effects of"compounding Fritillary Bulb granule"interfereing the ambi-chemotherapy stage of refractory acute leukemia and reversing leukemia multidrug resistance. All the cases data came from 12 third class grade A hospitals including 135 refractory acute leukemia cases observed from January, 2004 to April, 2006, we selected 126 cases, 65 cases in treatment group and 61 cases in control group.The result shows:â‘ According to acute leukemia clinical effect evaluating standard, in treatment group the complete remission cases are 29, 44.6%; the partia remission cases are 23, 35.4%; the none remission cases are 13, 20%; the total effective rate is 80%. In the control group, the complete remission cases are 15, 24.6%; the partia remission cases are 17, 27.9%; the none remission cases are 29, 47.5%; the total effective rate is 52.5%.
