Objective: To explore both the effect and the mechanisms of "ShuangguYitong" acupuncture-therapy on cardiomyopathy of hyperthyreosis rats.Methods: 30 SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: blank group(n=10,blank); model group(n=10,model non-needling); "ShuangguYitong" acupuncture-therapy group(n=10,model and electric needling Guanyuan, Zusanli and Neiguan acupoint). The animal model was made with L-Thy injection at the abdominal cavity. And 28 days later, body weight and rectal temperature of the rats were measured when ending therapy. Reported the ECG and calculated HR.T3,T4, ANG II,ET and CGRP concentration are detected. Myocardium of left and right ventricle exponents were detected and the cardiac muscle cellular structure was observed under HE dyeing light microscope and determin the cell diameter. Adopt Masson's dyeing to determine CVF, TEM to ultramicrostructure, hydroxylamine method to SOD activity, DTNB direct method to GSH-Px thio-malonylurea to MDA, and Western blot to t-Erk, p-Erk and MKP-1. Results: 1.Compared with Blank control group, the body temperature in Model group and "ShuangguYitong" acupuncture-therapy group steped up obviously (P<0.05) , body weight decreased significantly (P<0.05) ,and HR increased obviously (P<0.05) .
