Development And Application Of A New Apparatus For Improvement On Induced Abortion

To assess the effect of a new type of abortion apparatus both in enhancing the validity and safety of induced abortion and in avoiding or decreasing the complications and a series of bad side effects caused by traditional type of abortion apparatus. The design of the new type of abortion apparatus was physically based on rotary principle, a flexible, rotary and soft part of the new type of abortion apparatus was designed to wrap, peel and take out early gravid tissue in the uterus. A laboratorial study was done on uteruses in order to evaluate the safety of the new type of abortion apparatus ,and a clinical study was done in order to compare the effect of two types of abortion apparatus on induced abortion. In the laboratorial study,there was no pathological evidence of damnification found in the muscular layer of the uteruses . The quality of the new type of abortion apparatus passed through quality inspection of national medicine supervisor department. In the clinical study, two gropes of induced abortion were operated respectively with two types of abortion apparatus, the effect of induced abortion , amount of bleeding and recovery of menstruation after induced abortion were not significant different, the pain operated with the new type of abortion apparatus significantly decreased .The design of the new type of abortion apparatus were basically determined, and its feasibility is better in enhancing the validity and safety of induced abortion and in avoiding or decreasing the complications and a series of bad side effects caused by traditional type of abortion apparatus.
