Use Of Databases And Statistical Methods To Investigate The Case Of Lung Department Of Medical Diagnosis And Treatment Law

OBJECTIVEThis study has shown that the regular patterns on the diagnosis and treatment of TCM, through studying 1212 ancient case reports and 303 clinical reports by Professor JiangLiangDuo of respiratory disease, by utilizing data base and statistical method ,and seeking the rules of the relationship behind the data.METHOD1. Based FileMaker Pro 9 Advanved made a platform, authorized processing software,translated the context involved diagnosis, location and cause of the illness, and patholosical result about 1515 clinical reports of TCM to the number of 1 or 0, built the data base clinical reports of respiratory disease.2. Using step-by-step Logistic multiple regression(Binary Logistic)method of SPSS13.0 selected the variable, quantitate the relationship between independent variable and the object by equation.RESULT1. Relationship between diagnosis and symptoms Studying Relationship between diagnosis and symptoms made clear the evidence of the diagnosis.2. Relationship between diagnosis and the type of syndrome Studying Relationship between diagnosis and the type of syndrome made clear the regular rules of the diagnosis.3. Relationship between the type of syndrome and symptoms Studying Relationship between the type of syndrome and symptoms made clear the regular rules of the symptoms.4. Relationship between the type of syndrome and medication Studying Relationship between the type of syndrome and medication made clear the regular rules of the medication.CONCLUSION1. This study showed that the common recognition and each characteristics among the ancient TCM doctors on the regular rules of diagnosis and treatment through studying the data base of ancient TCM clinical reports and undergone analysis.2. Because of no common rules among the ancient TCM clinical report for long years , brought the final result default and error.3. This study shown the data base of respiratory disease were also able to bring the regular rules among the multiple type of syndrome .But there were some bias toward respiratory disease, because data base were chosen in the respiratory disease.
