Objective:Analyzed the hyperuricemia TCM medical prescriptions of Huang Chun Lin Professor with Data mining (DM) technique, learned and inherited his experiences and knowledge on hyperuricemia. Concluded the basic herbal prescription for the clinical research on hyperuricemia in patients with kidney disease, and provide objective clinical evidence for treatment kidney disease patients with hyperuricemia.Methods:50 hyperuricemia TCM medical records from Huang Chun Lin Professor were collected and parsed. Massages were inputted into the special medical case database. All collected medical records were analyzed with the analysis platform of DM to mine the experience of Huang Chun Lin Professor on the clinical understanding of hyperuricemia and gout. Basic herbal prescription was concluded for the next step of clinical research. We randomly assigned 94 kidney disease patients with hyperuricemia to receive either basic herbal decoction once a day or allopurinol 100mg three times a day for at least 15 weeks. Detected and recorded the primary and secondary end points, the indexes of urate excretion and renal impairment, the gout fare and adverse events.Results:1. The experience of Huang Chun Lin Professor on TCM treatment of hyper-uricemiaAccording to analysis of 50 medical records of hyperuricemia, we find that the location as spleen(23%),kidney (17%),liver (15%),lung (13%) and stomach (10%); The herbs most frequently used are Cuttlebone,Agastache,Salvia,Ash bark,Cassia,Eucommia,Astragalus,Epimedy, cuscuta chinensis and Poria Cocos. The nature of herbs as mild (29.40%), warm (22.44%), tepid (12.64%), cool (12.22%), cold (13.64%); And the index of efficiency show that the greatest weight is eliminating dampness, then clearing heat, nourishing kidney, activating blood, invigorating spleen, benefiting vital qi and so on. Basic herbal prescription was concluded from analysis of TCM medical records.2. The clinical research on kidney disease patients with hyperuricemiaThe primary end point was similar, reached in 19%-23% of patients receiving allopurinol and Chinese herbal decoction in the last 3 times, and 32%-36% of the two groups in stochastic 3 times. Although the incidence of gout flares was similar in two groups, the GFR was significant higher in the group receiving basic herbal decoction(P=0.01) and the treatment relative adverse events were less in the same group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Based on the analysis of TCM medical records of hyperuricemia, we can obtain experience from physicians of TCM. Clinical research showed that Chinese herbal decoction is effective on increasing urate acid excretion, reducing adverse events and protecting renal function in kidney disease patients with hyperuricemia.
