| Warlords of KMT for Chiang Kai-shek were one of the major counterparties to achieve personal power and political ambitions.How to deal with Warlods and how to deal with Communist Party of China were an important part of Chiang Kai-shek's strategy on Warlords.From 1928 to 1936,Chiang Kai-shek's dealing with this issue was vary with the same:from the national reunification and internal integration,whether Warlords or CPC was major obstacle which Chiang Kai-shek should face and deal with urgently;from resonpse to foreign aggression,whether Warlords or CPC was internal enemy,which Chiang Kai-shek deal with by polical means under certain conditions;from the interests of KMT,dealing with Warlords within the KMT System and CPC against the KMT System were differentiated naturally.Dealing with Warlords clearly reflects the rule way and political beliefs.From the rule way,there was some new trend in Chiang Kai-shek besides traditional polttical trickey.From politial beliefs,Chiang Kai-shek thinks himself highly with strong sense of mission and responsibility;he dedicated to the pursuit of national unity;he had stong feeling of nationalism.Chiang Kai-shek's dealing with Warlords from 1928 to 1936 was successful overally.He basically completed the domestic unity,maintained and brought up national strength,that laid the foundation for the Sino-Japanese War.After 1932.Chiang Kai-shek changed the strategy on Warlords,that contributed to the improvement of personal image and become the national leader.Of course, Chiang Kai-shek didn't successfully eliminated localism and factionalism,that influence his political career and the fate of KMT regime in the Mainland.Although there isn't major new discover in studies with Chiang Kai-shek diary and files on Chiang Kai-shek's strategy on Warlords,it contribute to form more comprehensive understanding of Chiang Kai-shek.When we form more comprehensive understanding of all aspects of him,Chiang Kai-shek,a controversial figure,become increasingly true and full.
