In this dissertation, the author studies the writing features and the grammatical forms of the written language in Endeni-yin Tobci (An outline of treasured history). The writing features of the written language in Endeni-yin Tobci are discussed from the both angles of characters and words. Firstly, the author sums up the writing features of the vocalic characters (which include long vowels and their marks, short vowel characters and double vowel characters) and the consonantal characters. Secondly, the writing features of the words are detailedly presented in the following aspects: 1, the consonants " " are used against the harmony rules of contemporary Mongolian; the suffixes beginning with a consonant " " come after not only the words ending with hard consonants " " but also the ones ending with soft consonants " " and vocalic characters, which go against the harmony rules of contemporary Mongolian again. 2, as far as the conjunctive vowel rules are concerned, when the suffixes beginning with the consonants " " are used successively after the verb stems ending with " " to form new words, the conjunctive vowels " " and " " will appear between the stems and suffixes. 3, the author studies the variants of some words and presents 12 reasons for the appearance of those different variants by comparing them with contemporary written Mongolian. 4, in Endeni-yin Tobci, some words can be written detachedly; at the same time some of the two words can be written successively which might look like one word. The nouns (or the verbs) and the grammatical forms of the nouns (or of the verbs) are sometimes written successively and sometimes detachedly. The rules of these phenomena are discussed too. 5, the usage of loanwords and punctuations is also briefly introduced. The grammatical forms of the written language in Endeni-yin Tobci are studied carefully in the second part of this dissertation. First, the author talks about the grammatical categories of nouns. They are listed as below: 1, case category: the meanings and functions of the suffixes of case category; 2, number category: the usage, meanings and functions of the plural suffixes, number opposition, a special plural suffix " " etc. 3, category of reflexive genitives: the meanings and functions of the suffixes of this category, and the origin and developing process of them. Second, verbs are broken into categories of voice, aspect, modality, person, adjective verbs, converbs, etc. The author compares the Middle-age Mongolian with the contemporary Mongolian and specifies the evanescing process of number harmony rules and the changing process of the meanings and functions of all those verb-category suffixes.
