I find the resentful experience of Chinese modernity literature when reading presentday literary works of China . I advance and delimit a"New Ressentiment"theory, which applies to the Chinese modern culture with the global angle of modernity view. Applying such a theory and drawing on the western position way of phenomenology, new criticism structuralism, existentialism and so on, and reading carefully and completely, also rethinking ten contemporary novelists' works of China, I make a conclusion that ressentiment is their modernity experience of cultural retrospection such as Lu Xun, Mao Dun, Ba Jin, Lao She,Shen Congwen, Zhang Ailing, Qian Zhongshu, Duan Mu Hongliang, Wu Mingshi, Zhao Shuli, the Chinese modern novelists. And then I advance a theory that ressentiment is the modern experience of all over the presentday literature of China. My article consists of eight parts. The introduction part points out that the article studies presentday literature of China in a creative and poineeriny way with the angle of"New Ressentiment"view. Then it denounces the representative view which doesn't recognize and also doesn't dare to face up to the resentful experience of Chinese modernity literature. At last, it points out that being the third advance of resentful experience after Liu Xiaofeng and Wang Yichuan in the current literature situation in the course of studying history and current state I have several kinds of differences and creation in contrast with the above two writers. The second part advances and delimits the"New Ressentiment"theory which is regarded as modern experience of Chinese literature. Deeply analysing and integrating the resentful theory in modern or ancient times, in China or elsewhere, and mainly unifying the special characteristics of Chinese current situation. I discourse at great length on a particular theory that"New Ressentiment"is different from others in history, and think that we can avoid the stubborn mode of thinking of binary opposition between tradition and modern times, thereby opening up a new problem field and discovery field. The third part shows the reason of choosing the topic and the used method from four aspects of the possibility using the experience of selected units to promote work in the entire area of querying essence determinism, of querying trend schoolism, of querying the stubborn including and included classification in traditional logic thinking. The fourth part points out the essential pattern of resentful experience existing in Chinese modern novels and...
